February, is that you?

January 12, 2012 1 Comment by Meghan

I know it’s not even technically mid-January, but my mind is already into February. I have found myself making appointments and other things on my calendar for February and I feel it’s pushing me through the month and making me think January is just about over! It could be me mentally trying to move past my first half marathon (at Disneyland, no less) that is looming at the end of this month. I’m running out of training time and I can’t say I’m too sad about that. I feel about as prepared as I can be and I’m ready to want to run again instead of feeling guilty if I don’t. ;) A day in Disneyland on that trip with my sister is what I look forward to the most! It’ll be a much needed girls weekend for me and I think that will overshadow my nervousness for the race.

So, Valentine’s Day has been on my brain lately. I partially blame Pinterest for this. I do always want to get a jump on my kids’ Valentines for school though too and so I’ve been looking around for some ideas. There are so many cute ones, it’s just so hard to decide!

I have no Valentine’s Day decor, so I whipped up this subway art for the holiday in about 10 minutes. I know they are floating all over out there, but I wanted a specific size and thought it just as easy to make my own. This is 11×14.

If you’d like to print one too, click here to download it.

I also made a printable of a quote I remember loving from English class that is pertinent to the upcoming holiday.

This one is 11×14 too. Want this one too? Click here.

A Valentine’s Day photo shoot with my kids is on the agenda soon and I’ll share photos from that when we tackle it.
